Financial inclusion and financial innovation have transformed the way financial services are delivered in emerging markets. Banks, microfinance institutions, trusts, insurance, securities, funds, fintech companies and governments work together to meet the financial needs of the poor and underserved. This year's central work report emphasizes the need to do a good job in science and technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance, digital finance "five major articles", inclusive finance actively promote financial reform and sustainable financial development, maintain the stability of the financial system, eliminate poverty, protect financial consumers, financial technology has profoundly changed the financial landscape, making the expansion of financial services more convenient. By combining financial services with the development of the energy sector, it will help solve the problem of energy poverty and pave the way for the development of green finance in the future.

We need to take a deeper look at the positive and negative impacts of financial innovation on financial inclusion and sustainable financial development, and the interactions between them. To this end, Tyrone School of Finance of Zhejiang Gongshang University and Durham University Business School of United Kingdom jointly held the Second Financial Inclusion, FinTech and Financial Sustainability Conference. The conference will be held on November 9-10, 2024 in Hangzhou, China. We welcome domestic and foreign scholars to submit research papers related to the conference theme, such as financial inclusion, fintech, sustainable development, etc., and to exchange ideas with peers in the field of financial economics.
